The home would appreciate these gift cards to be valued at $10 or $20 and should be purchased for use at Target, K-Mart, Wal-Mart or Best Buy.  Also, cash donations to be used for holiday meals are welcome.  Help us ensure that these children are not forgotten during this holiday season. Jo Hopkins will be available in the Narthex to sell cards and take donations after the service.

New Blankets for the HomelessEileen and David Phillips will be collecting new blankets to distribute to the homeless of Philadelphia on the afternoon of December 16th before serving at Grace Café. A collection Box will be placed outside the office.  We welcome anyone to join us in the distribution of blankets.

Sock Drive: We invite you to refill the basket with new socks for our next fellowship to Grace Café on December 16th.

Grace Café: Come with us to serve a warm meal to the homeless on December 16th, 4pm-7pm.

Hope UMC Food Bank: There is an S.O.S. from Hope UMC regarding their Food Bank, which is open to needy families the third Sat. of every month.  In Oct., forty-five families applied for help and literally, "picked the shelves clean".  With the holidays fast approaching, there is little time to restock the shelves.  If any of the churches in the area could help it would be a blessing.  The following are some of the much-needed items. Food cards cannot be used for the following: detergents, shampoo, toothpaste and toilet tissue.  Other needed items, condiments, cereal, coffee, tuna, peanut butter and pasta.  Please check expiration dates when donating perishable goods.

St. Mark’s Food Bank: We will continue to collect food donations for St. Mark’s in Broomall.  Please ensure that any food item has a future expiration date as the Food Bank cannot accept items with expired dates.

Order Your Poinsettias - We will be placing a large order of Poinsettias, please click here and fill out the form to order yours.

Altar FlowersThe 2019 calendar sign-up is now posted on the bulletin board outside the church office. The price this year has increased to $45 due to increasing costs for the flower shop. Sign up now to get your requested dates.

Upper Room - November/December issues are now available in the Narthex. (Both large print and regular size.)  Please take one for your daily devotions.

Envelope Giving - Due to changing patterns of giving, use of the offering envelopes is decreasing.  All of that is good! If we consolidate our offering envelope order, would you mind if we assign you a new number? Your feedback is very important, so feel free to call or email the church office with your thoughts and/or suggestions.

Amazon Smile, Ticket Window and Vacation Silent Auction Rental – Support the church and get a great benefit for yourself.  See bulletin board with available vacation homes and details on the other opportunities that have recently been developed. (see attached.)
